This 30-hour Medical Assisting refresher program is designed for Alumni with interest in customized training to enhance their skills, Medical Assistant graduates with no work experience, and would like to update and upgrade their skills to explore employment opportunities. It is also suitable for CNA professionals with interest in enhancing their knowledge and skills to the next level in pursuit of advancement.
The training encompasses Clinical skills modules including but not limited to, the following:
Anatomy and Physiology, Medical terminology, clinical skills i.e., Positioning and patient assistance, vital signs taking, patient assessment, Venipuncture, specimen collections, First Aid, CPR, therapeutics administration.
Career Preparedness, resume building, and interview techniques class, although optional will also be provided.
